1. Introduction

Welcome to Scripture – KJV Bible & Study (“Scripture,” “the App”), developed and maintained by Lexitech IT Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to providing a safe, accessible, and meaningful Bible-reading and study experience.

Scripture is designed to allow users to read, study, pray, and explore the Bible without requiring a user account or subscription.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Scripture.

2. Information We Collect

Scripture is designed primarily as an offline Bible application.

We do not require users to register an account or provide their name, email address, phone number, or other personal information to use the App’s core features.

The App allows users to create and store information on their devices, including:

  • Bookmarked Bible verses
  • Highlighted Bible passages
  • Personal Bible study notes
  • Prayer journal entries
  • Reading progress and recently accessed passages
  • Reading preferences, including font size and display theme

This information is stored locally on the user’s device using Android application storage.

We do not intentionally transmit this locally stored information to Lexitech IT Solutions servers.

3. How Information Is Used

Locally stored information is used to provide the App’s functionality, including:

  • Remembering reading progress
  • Displaying saved verses and highlights
  • Maintaining personal study notes
  • Saving and managing prayer journal entries
  • Remembering display and reading preferences

This information is not used by Lexitech IT Solutions for targeted advertising, profiling, or the sale of personal data.

4. Offline Bible Reading

Scripture includes offline Bible-reading and study functionality.

Users can access the included King James Version (KJV) Bible text without creating an account or maintaining an internet connection.

Certain features added in future updates may require an internet connection. Any material changes to how personal information is handled will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

5. Prayer Journal and Personal Notes

Scripture provides features that allow users to record personal prayers and Bible study notes.

These entries may contain private or sensitive information voluntarily entered by users.

Prayer journal entries and personal notes are stored locally within the App.

Lexitech IT Solutions does not intentionally collect or review the contents of these entries.

Users should avoid storing passwords, financial account information, or other highly sensitive information in their notes or prayer journals.

6. Data Storage and Security

Scripture uses Android application storage to save user-created content and preferences.

We take privacy seriously and aim to minimize unnecessary collection and transmission of information.

However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of the user’s device and operating system.

Depending on the user’s Android settings, some application data may be included in device or cloud backups managed by the operating system or device provider.

7. Data Sharing

Lexitech IT Solutions does not intentionally sell, rent, or share users’ locally stored Bible notes, prayers, bookmarks, or reading preferences with advertisers or data brokers.

Scripture includes functionality that allows users to voluntarily copy or share Bible passages using applications installed on their devices.

When users choose to share content through another application, the handling of that information is governed by the privacy practices of the selected application or service.

8. Third-Party Services

Scripture may be distributed through Google Play.

Google and the Android operating system may process certain technical, diagnostic, or store-related information independently under their applicable privacy policies.

Users can review Google’s privacy practices at:
